About PreviewPal
PreviewPal is a slow-letter app for penpals. Letters fly the real distance between two people at 500 mph. The person you're writing to can read your letter the moment it's sent and watch it cross the map, but they can only reply when it lands. Letters are end-to-end encrypted, and PreviewPal is free in the browser.
Messages got instant, and somewhere along the way people stopped really writing to each other. PreviewPal brings back the letter.
You write to a penpal anywhere in the world, with stationery, a stamp, your own handwriting font and a wax seal. The letter then travels the real great-circle distance at 500 mph: Toronto to Kyoto takes about 13 hours. Your penpal can peek at every word while it's in the air and follow it on the map, but the reply only unlocks when it lands.
Every letter is end-to-end encrypted, so only the two people writing can read it. People choose who can reach them, letters that look threatening are covered on the reader's device, and a safety team reviews every report.
PreviewPal also has messages in a bottle, round-robin letters that travel from penpal to penpal, time capsules, and Meet, which introduces you to six people a day who share your interests. It's free in the browser on any phone or laptop, with an optional Premium plan.
