Your letters, on your home screen.
Install it in a few seconds, straight from your browser. No app store and nothing to download: tap the icon and your letters are there, full screen.
Android (Chrome)
- Open previewpal.io in Chrome.
- Tap Install on the banner, or tap the ⋮ menu and choose Install app. (Some phones call it Add to Home screen.)
- Tap Install. PreviewPal joins your apps and your home screen.
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open previewpal.io in Safari.
- Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
On iOS 16.4 or later, Chrome and Edge work too: Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Computer (Chrome or Edge)
- Open previewpal.io in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the menu and choose Install PreviewPal.
- PreviewPal opens in its own window. Pin it to your taskbar or dock to keep it handy.
Good to know
- Is it free?
- Yes. Installing PreviewPal is free, and so is writing letters. Premium is optional.
- Is it a real app?
- It installs like one: its own icon, full screen without the browser's bars, and a place in your app list. It's the same PreviewPal as the website, so it keeps itself up to date and there's never an update to download.
- Do I need Google Play or the App Store?
- No. It installs straight from your browser, so there's nothing to search for and no store account to sign in to.
- Will my letters be there?
- Yes. Sign in once with the same email or Google account, and your letters, penpals and stamps are all there.
- How do I remove it?
- Like any other app: press and hold the icon, then choose Uninstall on Android or Remove App on iPhone. Your account and letters stay safe.
